At St. Anne's
You are warmly welcomed to participate fully in the life of the church. For more information on these and other opportunities, you can contact us.
Altar Guild - Teams rotate each week preparing for the weekly celebration of the Eucharist. Preparation includes caring for the linens, sanitizing and polishing the vessels, baking bread), obtaining wine and other supplies, and furnishing flowers.
Liturgical Arts Guild - The St Anne's Liturgical Arts Guild is to foster participation and creativity among the congregation that symbolically tie into the Episcopal Liturgical calendar to enhance our common worship experience in glorifying our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Stewardship - This team provides education and information around stewardship of our resources including a fall giving campaign, personal finance workshops and planned giving.
Sunday Morning Hospitality - Each Sunday volunteers host coffee hour downstairs. This involves providing a selection of snacks and making coffee, tea, and juice available. This is a great opportunity to talk to people as they come downstairs. First timers have help from people who know where everything is in the kitchen.
Pastoral Care - The pastoral care team assists the vicar in caring for the needs of our congregation. Members of this team are contacted whenever the prayer chain is activated. They also strive to be available when needed to make phone calls, visits, and other activities requested by Mother Kathleen.
Greeters and Ushers - Come early and welcome all as they arrive. Orient guests and visitors and help them find seats and feel welcome. Training is provided.
Community Worship Teams - Want to help with the Blessing of the Animals or the Blessing of the Bikes? These once a year events are a great chance to connect with our wider community and there are roles large or small for all who are interested.
Buildings and Grounds - Host several work days each year. Watch the calendar for details or contact the church for ongoing projects.
New Earth Composting Project - St. Anne's has compost piles in the back of the parking lot. Instructions are posted. Bring your compost/take some new earth.
