Music Transition Committee

As we prepare for January, we want to make sure that important music tasks are planned for.  Who and how will hymns be selected?  What other essential activities do we need to plan for? If you would like to be part of a group that helps oversee concrete music tasks in the transition, contact Mary Tipton.

Education for Ministry (EfM)

Do you have questions about the Bible? The history and practices of the Church? Looking for a supportive environment to ask questions and search for meanings in Biblical texts? The local EfM study group will be starting a new season the first week in November, and is inviting new members to join our explorations. The group meets Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 12, and is co-led by Robin Haglund from Church of the Good Shepherd and Lynette Kamakura from St. Anne’s. In addition to Biblical study and reflection, there is always food! If you are interested, or just have questions, please contact Lynette Kamakura at coffee hour.

Note from your Safe Stay Car Camping Team

We have a great system at St. Anne’s for serving car campers.  To keep it safe and orderly, please refer all requests to the intake process, which is posted on the back door of the parish hall.  Please do not invite campers to stay—all campers must go through intake first.

Asking for Help

We are in need of someone to oversee the church gardens in your spare time.   This will consist of raking (a little), weeding (a little) and just making sure the gardens are tended to from time to time.  If you are able to help (and have a somewhat green thumb), please contact  Tusie Hodgins at twhodgin@gmail.com for more details.  Thank you in advance.

Welcome Gift for Newcomers

Please note at the back of the church, coffee cups filled with candy and book marks/information regarding the happenings at St. Anne’s.  If you, at any time, see someone you don’t recognize as a regular member of St. Anne’s, please introduce yourself and offer a coffee mug filled with ‘fun’.

Manna Bags for our Friends in Need

Please remember to bring nonperishable food items.  Containers for these items are located in the kitchen area of the church.  Take a bag for yourself or keep one in your car to give away.

We are also collecting donations of hats, jackets/coats, gloves, scarves, socks, new underwear & blankets. A container for Gifts of Food for the Family Center Food Pantry (servicing Camas & Washougal) is located in the kitchen area as well. “
