On Wednesday November 25th at 7pm at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Washougal (2350 Main St.) faith communities from around Clark County will gather for an Interfaith Service of Thanksgiving. The service will reflect prayers and songs from various traditions around the theme of gratitude. The church will be open for prayer and meditation at 6:30pm, the service will begin at 7pm. As part of the service an offering will be taken for the safe car camping program, which provides safe places for people living in their cars to park overnight, that is developing in Clark County. Faith communities/traditions contributing to the service include: St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Washougal Masjid Al-Noor Mosque/Islamic Society of Southwest Washington, Vancouver Bahá'ís of Washougal St. Joseph/St. Thomas Catholic Churches, Vancouver/Camas Zion Lutheran Church, Camas Chinook Nation, Columbia Region Camas Friends Church, Camas Abundant Life Center, Vancouver People of any or no faith tradition are welcome to attend the service. A potluck Reception will follow.
